Research Forum

Research Forum

Join us quarterly as we present relevant topic areas in clinical and translational research. We will cover issues and solutions to obstacles in conducting clinical and translational research to enhance your knowledge. The topic areas we present are designed to:

  • Help your career in clinical and translational research
  • Acquire skills in conducting successful research studies
  • Get connected with scientists who share a commitment to translational research, and
  • Gain knowledge that directly supports your research and expands your collaboration.

If you have a clinical or translational research question, let us know and we will try to address during the upcoming events. Please submit questions and topic requests to:

Committee Co-Chairs:

Dr. Meghana Trivedi: mtrivedi@central.uh.edu

Dr. Gokul Das: Gokul.Das@RoswellPark.org

Dr. Dhyan Chandra:Dhyan.Chandra@RoswellPark.org

Selection of speakers:

Invite accomplished professionals and ask them to speak on topic of their choice and have them devote few minutes to touch upon life lessons and experiences in the context of how they overcame failures and roadblocks on their path to success. This approach may help us to recruit more speakers and could also attract more people to listen in.

Speakers would not have to be AAISCR members. They could be, for example, Head of Therapeutic Oncology Division/Department, Vice President of Global Regulatory Strategy and Policy from biopharmaceutical companies and academic researchers including basic and translational researchers and clinical trialists. Speakers would not have to be AAISCR members.
