The AAISCR is proud to announce three new award categories to be awarded yearlyat the AAISCR Annual Meeting. The awardees should be present at the annual meeting to accept the awards. The following are award categories, eligibility and the application process.

AWARD CATEGORY & ELIGIBILITY:

AAISCR-Tripti R. Ghosh Memorial Award for Women Scientists in Cancer Research

This Award will be presented to an Indian American female scientist (Ph.D./MD/DDS) who has overcome extraordinary challenges in the pursuit of cancer research. The selected awardee will be a faculty member conducting cancer research in a small public, private university, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) in the USA.

AAISCR- Madhabi Ganguly Memorial Award for Entrepreneur-Scientists in Cancer Research

This Award will be presented to an Indian American entrepreneur-scientist (Ph.D./MD/DDS) who has successfully navigated challenges and established a company in USA relevant to cancer research in an area of biotechnology, product development, research services, patient education/patient care, or survivorship. The selected awardee may be affiliated with US university/institution.

AAISCR- P. R. Vijayalaxmi Award for Innovation in Cancer Research

This Award will be presented to an Indian American scientist (Ph.D./MD/DDS) who has demonstrated innovation in cancer research through development of a new technology, product, instrumentation, bioassay, identification of new molecular mechanisms, or development of a novel area of cancer research. All cancer researchers in the USA are eligible.

Application Deadline:February 23rd of the award year

Submit application to the Committee Chairman: Dr. Dipak Sarkar ( dipak.sarkar@rutgers.edu), distinguished Professor at Rutgers University, NJ.

Application Format: Page limit: 2 pages including the administrative section; Font & size: Arial, 11; margins 1" all sides
